The fall tour in 1983 is the last great run (in my opinion of course). Just about every show is high octane, occasionally sloppy, but still entertaining. Although you don't get the jazzy jams that Cliff likes, I like the way Jerry extended solos on many songs: Big RR and Brown Eyed on 10/15, Cumberland and Cassidy on 10/12, Sugaree on 10/17, the manic China Cat on 9/10, the crazy jam out of space on 10/31, all the Slipknots, etc etc.

As for 1985 6-27-85 has always been one of my favorite shows but I'll pass on this year for the most part.
